Adobe Indesign – Fundamentals

This is a step-by-step course designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of page layout and publication design using Adobe InDesign. The course provides a practical foundation for creating professional documents for print and digital publishing while developing an efficient and organized design workflow.

Students will begin by becoming familiar with the InDesign workspace, panels, document setup, pages, and essential tools. They will learn how InDesign is used to create books, magazines, brochures, newsletters, reports, catalogs, flyers, and other multi-page publications.

The course gradually introduces essential tools and techniques, including working with text frames, image frames, pages, master pages, styles, grids, guides, typography, and document organization.
