Overview
This is a step-by-step course designed to introduce students to the world of three-dimensional modeling, design, animation, and rendering using Blender. The course provides a practical foundation for understanding how 3D objects and environments are created, shaped, textured, illuminated, animated, and rendered.
Students will begin by becoming familiar with the Blender interface, workspaces, navigation, views, and essential tools. They will learn how to create and manage projects, understand the 3D viewport, and work confidently within a three-dimensional environment.
The course gradually introduces fundamental modeling concepts, including objects, vertices, edges, faces, transformations, modifiers, and basic mesh editing. Students will learn how to construct simple 3D objects and refine their shapes using essential modeling techniques.
Materials, colors, textures, cameras, and lighting will then be explored to help students develop visually appealing 3D scenes. The course also introduces basic concepts of UV mapping and applying materials to models.
Students will learn the fundamentals of animation, including keyframes, object movement, rotation, and simple animated scenes. Rendering concepts will cover cameras, lighting, render settings, and exporting finished images or animations.
Through practical exercises and complete projects, learners will develop confidence in creating 3D models and scenes while understanding a structured Blender workflow.
